I always liked the romance between Ben Grimm and Alicia Masters from the classic early issues of The Fantastic Four.
This is the iconic beauty-and-the-beast story with some clever twists (the blind Alicia likes Ben better as The Thing even as Ben tries to find a way to change back to human form permanently). There were some good complications to the romance as well. Alicia's stepfather was the villainous Puppet Master, and Silver Surfer served as a romantic rival.
The romance was also one of the plots that really defined Ben Grimm's personality, helping make him one of the best characters in comics.

This is an easy choice for me. I'll go with the pair of henchmen who star in my comic Zephyr & Reginald: Minions for Hire.
As Ben Grimm would put it, 'nuff said.
